Meet the Doctors
Dr. Kolbe Poarch
Dr. Kolbe was born and raised in Gilbert, Arizona. Following high school, he moved to Kansas City, where he attended Benedictine College. Dr. Kolbe earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Benedictine in 2018, where he was also a member of the Raven football team. After graduation, he began working at the Gene Therapy Program at the University of Pennsylvania, contributing to research in rare orphan diseases. In 2021, he returned to Kansas City to work as a Clinical Trial Specialist for a contract manufacturing organization.
After the COVID-19 pandemic, Dr. Kolbe was inspired to pursue a more natural and holistic approach to wellness, ultimately leading him to chiropractic school. He enrolled at Cleveland University-Kansas City in 2022 and graduated Cum Laude in 2025. He was accepted into Pi Tau Delta International Chiropractic Honor Society, the oldest and most distinguished honor society in the chiropractic profession, and was honored with the Clinic Intern Performance Award, recognizing his outstanding clinical skill, attitude, and work ethic at the college’s Student Health Center.
Outside the office, he enjoys golfing, cheering on the Kansas City Chiefs, diving into fantasy football, and cooking up new recipes in the kitchen. While he’s always been a football fan, he’s proudly becoming a Cornhusker supporter, too.
Dr. Sydni Schernikau
Dr. Sydni was born and raised in Lincoln, NE and attended Waverly School District throughout her childhood before attending Concordia University - NE where she played softball and ran track. COVID hit her freshman year which ultimately led her to chiropractic! Working as a CNA during the pandemic all throughout undergrad, Dr. Sydni was drawn to a different career in the health field to provide a more natural, holistic approach.
After graduation, Dr. Sydni moved back to Elkhorn with her fiancé, Kolbe, closer to her family. Dr. Sydni loves being outdoors whether it's walking, playing sports, or simply sitting outside enjoying the fresh air. She also loves to read and uses any spare time she has to squeeze in a few pages. Football is the highlight of Dr. Sydni's fall, as she is a huge Nebraska Cornhusker and Green Bay Packers fan!
